Trademarks

You are not permitted to use Mindjet LLC’s trademarks without the prior written consent of Mindjet, LLC. Where permission has been granted, you must include the following trademark attribution statement:

Mindjet, MindManager, and the Mindjet Logo and the trademarks listed below are the trademarks and registered trademarks of Mindjet, LLC.

The following is a list of Mindjet trademarks which may not include all of Mindjet’s trademarks:

Guidelines for Use of Mindjet LLC’sTrademarks

Trademarks are very important to Mindjet. Notwithstanding the foregoing, you may use Mindjet LLC’s trademarks or product names to refer to Mindjet products and services provided that you follow these guidelines.

Permissible and Correct Use

You may generally use Mindjet LLC’s trademarks to refer to the associated Mindjet products or services. For instance, an authorized reseller can note in its advertisements that it is selling the specific Mindjet software. Similarly, a customer may issue a press release stating that it is using Mindjet software.

To comply with our legal requirements you must adhere to the following:
  • Your use must not mislead consumers as to any Mindjet sponsorship, affiliation, or endorsement of your company, or your products or services.
  • You must not use Mindjet LLC’s trademarks, Logos, or trade dress, or potentially confusing variations, as all or part of your company, product or service names.
  • You must not use any of Mindjet LLC’s trademark in such a manner that it appears Mindjet is legally associated with your company.
  • You must display your company name more prominently than any Mindjet trademark on any web site pages and on any materials, including product, packaging, advertising, and other collateral.
  • You must not vary Mindjet trademarks by changing their spelling or abbreviating them, or combining them with other marks, colors, or background colors.
  • Any use of Mindjet LLC’s Logo to indicate compatibility with your software must be pursuant to a license (see Logos below).
  • Your use of Mindjet LLC’s trademarks must not be obscene, pornographic, disparaging, defamatory or libelous to Mindjet.

Properly Identify Mindjet Products

When referencing Mindjet software, apply the appropriate trademark symbols in accordance with the list of current Mindjet trademarks outlined above. Use the ® or ™ symbol with the most prominent appearance of the "Mindjet" mark on products, packaging, manuals, advertisements, promotional materials and web site pages (e.g. in the headline of an advertisement), and the first use of the mark in text or body copy. You should introduce the trademark as a proper adjective followed by the appropriate descriptor outlined in the table above. You must not use a Mindjet trademark in the possessive or plural form, or as a noun. Mindjet trademarks must always be used as an adjective, modifying a noun, such as, by way of example, "Mindjet software" or "MindManager software".

Use Trademark Notices

You must always include an attribution of Mindjet LLC's ownership of the trademark(s) within the credit notice section of your documentation or advertisement. The format to follow is:

"(Appropriate trademark, such as 'Mindjet, MindManager and MindManager X5') are either registered trademarks or trademarks of Mindjet Corporation in the United States and/or other countries. All rights reserved."

Logos

Do not use the Mindjet Logos, symbols, or icons on or in connection with products, packaging, manuals, promotional/advertising materials, or on a web site for any purpose except pursuant to an express written trademark license from Mindjet, LLC. You can find the Mindjet Logos in the Graphic Resources area of the Press and Media Center at www.mindjet.com.

The Mindjet Corporate Logo may only be used in limited situations to refer to Mindjet.

Tag Lines

You may indicate the relationship of your products or services to Mindjet products or services by using accurate, descriptive tag lines such as "works with Mindjet software" in connection with your product or service name. Within text or body copy, such tag lines may appear in the same type as your product or service name.

Linking To the Mindjet Web Site

Mindjet permits linking to Mindjet's web site subject to the linker's compliance with the following terms and conditions. A web site that links to Mindjet's web site:
  1. May link to, but not replicate, content contained in Mindjet LLC's web site;
  2. Must not create a border environment or browser around content contained in Mindjet LLC's web site;
  3. Must not present misleading or false information about Mindjet LLC's services or products;
  4. Must not misrepresent Mindjet LLC's relationship with the linker;
  5. Must not imply that Mindjet LLC is endorsing or sponsoring the linker or the linker's services or products;
  6. Must not use Mindjet LLC's Logos or trade dress without prior written permission from Mindjet LLC(see Guidelines for Use of Mindjet LLC’s trademarks, above);
  7. Must not contain content that could be construed as obscene, libelous, defamatory, pornographic, or inappropriate for all ages;
  8. Must not contain materials that would violate any laws;
  9. Must agree that the link may be removed at any time upon Mindjet LLC's request pursuant to Mindjet LLC's reserved rights to rescind its consent to allow the link;
  10. All rights not otherwise granted herein are hereby reserved by Mindjet, LLC.
